The Open Wheel Race Car Club was formed to promote the interests of open wheel motor sport in South Australia , and in particular to bring about the introduction of the Formula Vee1600 category to South Australia, and to serve as an active focus group for Formula Ford, Formula Vee and Formula 3 drivers and teams.
We have members who race: Formula Ford (Duratec), Formula Ford 1600, Formula 3, Formula Vee 1600, Formula Vee 1200, and Super Karts. We also welcome non-driving, social members who simply wish to be involved in motor sport. Maybe as pit crew at race meetings, or on an administrative level within the club.
Monthly meetings are held on a Wednesday evening at the Tower Hotel, 621 Magill Road, Magill. This is a great venue offering excellent value meals for those who wish to dine beforehand. Our meetings are informal, friendly get-togethers offering an opportunity to talk racing in a relaxed atmosphere, where your partner is welcome too!
