Ben Forgan back from Hidden Valley

Ben and the ENGMAN team are back from the Hidden Valley (Darwin) round of the 2008 Australian Formula Ford Championship . Ben had a body panel come loose in Race 1 and was in pit lane doing a fix when the race finished. In race 2 the selector shaft into the Hewland gearbox broke so the team had a DNF. Ben finished in Race 3 and the team were delighted to have done that and to bring the car home in one piece having had no race incidents over the whole weekend. Ben said that he was a bit off the pace in this first venture into the national championship but he learnt a lot and had a really great time. The racing was superb and there were very few incidents over the entire meeting. He has thanked Minda Motorsport for their trackside assistance, and also Matt Roesler for invaluable support over the whole weekend. Matt and Marty drove the trailer home while Ben and Anna stayed on in Darwin for a holiday in NT and WA. Ben and Anna have now announced their engagement!
